Pedestrian bridges and walkways

More than 25 steel truss pedestrian bridges delivered as design-and-build contracts, from structural design through fabrication, coating, erection and handover. Completed spans range from 22m to 65m for single-structure road crossings and 250m for a multi-span galvanised bridge over water. Bridges have been delivered with lift towers and stair or ramp access; fully enclosed and air-conditioned walkways with floor-to-ceiling glazing; glass balustrades; and decorative envelopes in laser-cut steel, aluminium hollow sections and aluminium composite panel. Erection over live carriageways is planned around night-time road closures with mobile cranes.

Pre-engineered buildings and structural steel

Pre-engineered buildings (PEB) and hot-rolled steel structures (HRSS): primary frames, secondary members (Z and C purlins), roof and wall cladding, flashings and gutters. More than 70 buildings delivered: warehouses with spans from 10m to 80m, factory buildings with crane runways, store buildings, multi-storey steel frames, mezzanine floors, platforms, staircases, gangways and space-frame roofs. Buildings are supplied as steel-only packages or as complete supply-and-build contracts; the port employees' building in Basra (2,800m²) was delivered with its full MEP and interior works package.

Gates, gantries and highway steelwork

Steel port and city entrance gates, from concept and 3D design through structural engineering, ornamental and laser-cut steelwork, coatings and lighting integration to installation — including the seven port entry and exit gates delivered in Basra with MEP and finishing packages. Highway sign gantries, warning gantries and crash gantries, designed and built for road projects in the UAE. Steel fencing, handrails and grills.

Industrial steelwork and containment

Conveyor support structures and galleries in built-up heavy sections. More than 100 pressure vessels and tanks and 50 silos delivered: pressure vessels to ASME Section VIII Division 1, storage tanks to API 650 and API 620, high-pressure piping to ASME B31.3, silos in stainless and mild steel, and water-treatment equipment, with material traceability, PWHT and third-party inspection as specified. Mobile tanks, loading ramps and equipment platforms.

Engineering and project management

In-house structural design, estimating, detailing and shop drawings. Project engineering and site supervision by the company's own engineers and foremen. Contracts are structured as design-and-build, supply-and-build, or fabrication-only supply.

Fabrication facility

Ajyal Group's fabrication facility is located in Ras Al Khaimah Free Zone, UAE, with an installed capacity of AED 50 million of fabricated output per year. Principal plant:

Surface treatment is blast cleaning followed by primer, epoxy and topcoat to the client's specification, using Jotun, Hempel or National Paints systems as specified; galvanising is used where specified, as on the Abu Dhabi modular bridge.

Quality, health and safety, environment

Quality management is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and occupational health and safety management to ISO 45001:2018; both systems are independently audited every year. Health and safety, environmental and quality policy statements are maintained under the Managing Director's signature. Every project is executed under a risk assessment and method statement, with certified HSE officers on site and daily toolbox talks. Quality control covers full material traceability, welding procedure qualifications, NDT, dimensional and coating-thickness inspection before dispatch, and third-party inspection where the contract requires it.

The company is approved by all seven UAE municipalities: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah. ISO certificates, municipality approvals and the policy statements are available on request.
