Who we are
Bwabt Al Ajyal Contracting LLC (BAC) is a steel fabrication and contracting company licensed in Dubai for building contracting. It operates as the Dubai contracting company of Ajyal Group. Ajyal Group's management, engineering and site teams have been delivering steel structures in the UAE since 1993; every project on this site was completed by that team. That record covers more than 25 pedestrian bridges, 70 steel buildings and warehouses, 100 pressure vessels and tanks and 50 silos, with fabricated structures exported to Bahrain, Jordan and Iraq.
The work is structural steel from design to handover: pedestrian bridges and walkways, pre-engineered and hot-rolled steel buildings, port and city gates, highway gantries, and industrial steelwork such as conveyor structures, silos, tanks, pressure vessels, platforms, staircases and gangways. Contracts are taken as design-and-build, as supply-and-build against a client's design, or as fabrication-only supply.
Group structure
Ajyal Group combines a fabrication facility in Ras Al Khaimah Free Zone with contracting operations run from Dubai. The facility has an installed capacity of AED 50 million of fabricated output per year and produces bridge components, building frames and secondary members, tanks, silos, gates and miscellaneous steel. BAC carries the contracting scope: engineering, procurement, project management, erection and handover.
Management and team
The company is managed by Saif Al Maamalachi, Managing Director. Under him, a team of more than 75 professionals is organised into engineering and design, project management, fabrication, QA/QC, HSE, procurement and logistics, and site installation.
How we deliver
Management systems are certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 and independently audited every year. The company is approved by all seven UAE municipalities: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah.
Each contract follows the same sequence: in-house structural design and shop drawings to the codes specified in the contract, most commonly AISC 360 or BS EN 1993 with AWS D1.1 welding; certified steel with mill certificates and traceability records; cutting, forming, welding and assembly at the Ras Al Khaimah facility; blast cleaning and the specified coating system; dimensional and weld inspection before dispatch, with NDT and third-party inspection where the contract requires it; packing, transport and erection by the company's own crews, including night lifts over live carriageways; and handover documentation.
Health and safety, environmental and quality policy statements are signed by the Managing Director, issued to every employee on joining, and available on request.
